No... Some time ago I shaved my head and liked it. Especially in winter. I didn't have to wait long for my hair to dry

I've dyed my hair a whole bunch of colours, but its naturally a dusty reddish/blondish/mousy brown. My favourite colour was "Mocha brown" which someone else picked, although my hair fades wrong, and colours never stay in long.

Does anyone elses hair fade normal colour at the top and yellow/blonde at the bottom? Does anyone know how to make hair not do that?

I have done a lot of really weird things over the past six years or so. I shaved part of my hair for the first time at the start of 07.. and thus began two years or shaving on and off. I used to date a hairdresser, so nothing was ever a really tacky home job (until I learned how to do it, haha).

One of the cooler things I had was this:

If anybody is a NIN fan, they will recognise this. I saw something like four NIN concerts in Australia back in 2007 - and had this shaved into both sides of my head. Fun times. My hair was pink, purple and blue as well.

Crap picture, but that hair felt so soft and cute. I always dyed my own hair weird colours, and was happy with this.

Bit of another dodgy picture, but I have dark brown ALMOST BLACK eyebrows, so I usually find really dark brown/black suits me. Dark brown looks a lot more natural - which is what I've just returned to!

I have had 2309483204830294803280283923482093204832 different colours and styles, but those are just a few so I don't photo whore. :)

Astica, do you dye your hair really often/bleached it in the past? It's possible that you have lots of leftover colour on the ends of your hair which is making it go that colour, whereas your roots are just fading as they haven't been bleached or anything like that. Possibility?

My flatmate bleached my hair last year once and I used to dye it a lot. Do you think its just fucked and needs to grow back new?

after you bleached it did get really dry and hay feeling? dying it normal colors dont usually make your hair do that, not from what i've seen anyways...but i was being cheap and used shit bleach 3 times in a row and for a while certain parts of my hair would not take color in very well so it looked muddy blonde, so if your bleach job messed up your hair a bit it's probably that...i was lucky b/c my hair is awesome and went back to normal (meaning i didnt have to cut off a bunch of dead hair, it just got really dry and angry) so i just got a haircut that cut off most of the dry crap so it's better now...so i'd guess maybe that

Yeah, that sounds basically exact. I cut the ends off and got some leave in hair moisturizer thing so hopefully it gets better and I can dye it again cause Im so over being strawberry blonde >.<

yeah its gone thats the back
On another note I have been working on some weird things on my dollbabies hair at school

Oh and on the dollbaby hair note as well if your hair looks like that after you bleach it (I.E. the scraggley hairs you should just grow it out no moisturizer will repair your hair.)

I used to have black hair... then I suddenly got the stupid idea that I wanted to have it white  :knuppel2:

... my friend and me bleached it like 6 times within one week, I lost like half of it and it felt like... rubber.

Now it's kinda ok again, it's still breakin every time i brush them but well... guess it's my very very VERY own fault ;)

... but I like the blonde  ;D

Oh! I just realised that I hadn't posted photos of my new hair in the hair thread.... so, without further ado -

it does faux hawk

and it does more of a regular crop thing

and I didn't like it at first, and I didn't like the colour, but it's grown on me and now I do, on both counts. Yay.

Julia I think it would be HOT if you had tracks shaved into the side of your head. Maybe just, like, two small ones. Oooooh man that would be hot.
