Perhaps some of y'all caught The Gossip on the True Colours Tour, or
maybe even knew of them before that...

I've liked The Gossip for a really long time now.  Beth Ditto on stage is magic.  One of those performers that puts their mind, body, and soul into every set.  It's this amazing energy.  The crowd too gets crazy.

They kick ass. She is one of the best rock singers out there right now. Beth has that thing that only the very best have. Beth can sing her ass off, knows how take the crowd and put them in the palm of her hand, and has a remarkable sense of self without being too self-asorbed.

Beth is a vessel for the music to pour right out of her mouth in the purest way. The only other singer I can think of that had that same gift at such an astounding level was Freddie Mercury.

I think Beth Ditto is rather annoying, and The Gossip are only okay.
