No, it's just a cover of a Murder by Death song Amanda did.
She wrote a blog of it!

ooo yeh: anyone know the chords to two headed boy? would love to learn it  O0
also, while we're at it, any idea of the chords to evelyn & evelyn's "myspace" and also "electric blanket"?

Based on this youtube recording: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bDoo0TcHPmM

And ARGH, the chords keep moving. I have it in Word if you want to, otherwise just listen and find out the right place^^

Evelyn Evelyn – I just want my space

      C                         Am
It’s hard enough to know where you’re really supposed to go
      F                                              (G)
When you’re looking for a friendly face ___?____ get to another place
         C                         Am
You move (??) your lips to speak but they look at you like you’re a freak
   F
It’s a struggle just to stay alive ____________?_______

E         Am
Everyone stares
       Dm         G
But nobody ever sees you
    E      Am
You go searching everywhere
              Dm      G
But the feeling never leaves you and you

  C                 F
Can’t always want what you get
                   F                      G
When you’re looking for love in a café on the internet
        C                      C
You want somewhere to hide where everyone could find you
        Am                F
You join ?? the world and say
 G      F
I just want my space

[repeat all with different lyrics]

Dm                          G                              Dm          G

Here are the lyrics to the first verse as I hear them (could be wrong, but you know)

It's hard enough to know where you're really supposed to go
When you're looking for a friendly face book a ticket to another place
You move your lips to speak, people look at you like you're a freak
It's a struggle just to stay alive, journals burning in a burning fire.

and (I think) that line in the chorus is "you join arms with the world and say"

Thanks for the chords, btw!!!  :headbang:

Chords for The Bed Song? < : D

I'm still trying to figure this one out. To be honest with you, I'm just very lazy. Maybe later tonight I'll finish them, or maybe next week. Haha.

G Bm Em C G C - verse. Play it in a waltz manner.

instrum: Right hand alternates between A and B (notes) two octaves above middle C while the left hand plays (in a waltz manner) Em G C

"Is this a matter..."
Em D/F# C

Thanks for those Sean :) From your chords, I've worked out basic ones which work for ukulele for the verses and the chorus (strumming: down up up in a waltz rhythm) :

Quote
G
Exhibit A:
Bm
We are friends in a sleeping bag
 Em
    Splitting the heat,
                  G                            C
We have one filthy pillow to share
                G                     C
And your lips are in my hair
G                                       Bm
Someone upstairs had a rat that we laughed at
        Em                                       G                                        C
And people are drinking and singing about Scarborough fair
         G            C
On a ukulele dare

Em            D              C
I lay there wondering: “What is the matter?
Em        D            C
Is this a matter of worse or of better?”
Em               D             C
You took the blanket so I took the bed sheet
Em                   D          C
And I would’ve held you if you’d only let me

Having problems with the bridge though.

Thanks to both of you! I figured out a fairly decent piano version for the moment...although the piano solo is confusing me a fair deal.

The chorus ends with a C major chord and then melts into the bridge which goes like so.

C                                                 Em     D/F#   G   Cdim/G#  Am      B          C
But you said, 'All the money in the world won't   buy    a          bed so big and wide,
                                         Em  D/F#  G      Cdim/G#  Am         B
to guarantee that you won't acc  i        denta lly           touch me in the night.' I said, 'You're probably right.'

I expanded the word 'accidentally' on purpose so that you'll know which chord goes where. Same with the lyric above.
The instrumental is the same as the bridge.

And Cdim (for anyone who doesn't know) is three minor thirds... So, C D# F# A.

all i need is dear old house :-)

Here you go!  This is based on http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4WnuVDOFeh4 <that-- I think she plays it in C major these days with slightly different lyrics.

DEAR OLD HOUSE
Transcription by Petsky Piyamaradu, Lyrics from songmeanings.net but tinkered with a bit

Verse
G                  Cadd9
dear old house that i grew up in
D                 Cadd9
i know that i'll leave you any day
dear old house that i grew up in
can't you find a way to make them stay?

Chorus
 Cadd9
all the girls i went to school with
walked downtown with all the cool kids
    G
i was staked out in your cellar
making friends with dead umbrellas
          Cadd9
and every creak of every floorboard
                    D
tells the story of the girl i stuck inside
and if they move away
      (D7)                Cadd9
i'll have no place to hide

Verse
dear old house that i grew up in
i've never really been in love
you took my heart when i was a child
noises wrapped around my little body like a winter glove

Chorus
you're just a random set of objects
in a town thats filled with sadness
in the armpit of the world
you're chopped down trees and rotting soil
and if i wanted to i'd keep you
i'd fill you up and heat you
with the market how it is, amanda
well you know, the price of oil

Cadd9 (add g on top after a few bars)

Bridge
F#             Bm          G          D
Goodbye stairs, and goodbye stars on painted walls at home
F#               Bm            G                Cadd9
attic door, and banister, i'll miss you most of all
I was supposed to keep you safe this wasnt supposed to end
does it sound ridiculous to call you my best friend?

Verse
dear old house that i grew up in
i know i haven't visited that much
but, every lifeless hotel and apartment i walk into
just reminds me of the doorknobs that i want to touch

Chorus
i will miss you, when they sell you
to some evil yuppie couple
with the child who'll put miley cyrus posters in my bedroom
i am a native of the north
i am a rockstar on the road
i am now permanently located in each place i am known
but it doesnt feel like anywhere
when you can't go back home

Verse
dear old house that i grew up in
i know it isn't your fault this went down,
please don't take it personally
love, Amanda p.s. - tell the

Coda
G            Cadd9
evil yuppie couple, when i'm rich
         G
i'll buy them out.
