Idioteque? I looked up the Radiohead chords but they seem to be in a different key entirely from how Amanda plays it.
Keep in mind two things:
1) Amanda may have transposed the song to fit her voice range.
2) When performed on guitar, the song may use a capo, so the chords listed might not represent the notes being sounded, but the fingering patterns being used.

She did, and it does. Idioteque is capo'd on the third fret, but I don't think Amanda uses a capo.

Hmm Hi, I know the chords for evelyn evelyn theme have been posted but erm, I'm not very good at all with knowing chords. I've managed to work out the first few bars by ear, but I'm totally stuck on 'what shall we wear tonight? What shall we eat today?' etc, don't suppose anyone has the notes/sheets?

I've had trouble with some chords too, but 8notes has been very helpful in telling me how to play the chords, where the notes are, etc. I usually write them down on the lyrics or something, if that's helpful. Here's the link: click here please.

Hope that helps! :)

I figured out Sing for ukulele and thought I might as well register here and post them. So, in a way, this is also my introduction post.

Hi. My name is Eric, but you can call me EirĂkur if you can pronounce it.

Essentially, I took the version posted on Ultimate Guitar and figured out voicings for the ukulele. Here I'll just post the equivalent tab for each chord, because that person did a good job of spacing everything out. What that person called C1 is actuall a C(add9) and C2 is a Cmaj7. I don't know why that page has a standard C chord at the end, as they never use it, but oh well. I didn't include it, as I'm pretty sure every ukulele player must learn a C chord within the first day of playing. If you're a rebel and learned chords like Dm7 instead....well you're just cool

  Em:  Em7: C(add9): Cmaj7:  G:  Asus:  D:
A|-2----2------5-------2-----2----0-----0--
E|-3----0------0-------0-----3----0-----2--
C|-4----2------0-------0-----2----2-----2--
G|-0----0------0-------0-----0----2-----2--

P.S.: This is the best emoticon known to humanity: :just:

OH! Rereading a bit of the thread, someone mentioned Idioteque.

Two chords, Gm and a kind of Eb that makes more sense when you play it than if you try to describe it.

  Gm:  Eb:
A|-5----5--
E|-3----3--
C|-2----3--
G|-0----0--

So I was inspired to pick up a ukulele about a month ago...I had NEVER even touched a stringed instrument before, strictly been a flute and piano girl. Well, I love this little thing, so I got inspired to create some tabs of my own. I gave a stab to Evelyn Evelyn. Constructive criticism very welcome! I totally expect that I have gotten it wrong. lol.

I made it into a pdf file to make it easier..let me know if it's better to just copy and paste it here...

Hello
This thread is crazy long now, and it would take forever for me to look through it all, but I have a question!
Does anyone know the uke chords for Map of Tasmania? I know it's only two chords, and I ~think it's C and E flat, but it sounds a bit off.
Thanks!

What I know is C and Eb only. I think there's something like a passing Eb7 after E or C7 after C. Usually these are the chords for cases like that. Can also be Cm after C or Ebm after Eb.

I miiiiight be wrong, but I think Map of Tasmania is actually Am7, D.

EDIT: Just watched a video of her playing it live and that is most definitely what it is. Am7, for those who don't know, is the easiest chord: don't hold down any of the strings. Anywhere. It's what happens when you just strum the uke.

This.

Also, Am7 is also called C6.
