Art doodling question
« on: August 22, 2007, 01:48:10 AM »

Does anybody have any photos of the pages of Amanda's DD Companion? I left mine at home (TN), as I am now in CA for the next 2 months, and I'm trying to find pictures of the pages so I can get a visual of Amanda's doodlings around her handwriting, etc.

May seem like a silly request, but if you can help at all, that would be most desirable. Thanks much!

I miss Dolls fans.

love and adventures,
chelsea

And I can also help you with that.
But yes, I'd need to know if it's legal.
It depends, if Blonderedhead can't do it, then I will. (providing it's legal)

How long are you in New York, Blondy?

I'll be in New York for 1 week and 2 days. so I leave tomorrow and come back on september the first.

I remember on the dresden dolls sheet music group up on yahoo, someone scanned the sheets from the companion. they had to be deleted because duplicating stuff like that is illegal. so taking pictures hmmm.....

If you guys want to share with each other privately that's cool but please don't post scans of the book out in the open.

So true. I spent maybe two weeks with the sheet music and only look back at it occasionally. I still read the prose part of the book. Often. :)

Yes,I strongly recommend it too.
If you don't have a piano/guitar/keyboard, still buy it.
There's so much insight into the history and the songs, I have read it all the way through many times and it always feels like it's the first time I'm reading it.

there's probably a hidden message too private to be released behind the song 672, it's not even in the book except for the cd setlist.

Of course, I'm all about not violating copywrite laws, etc, so maybe not pictures of the book, per say. But something for an example of the "doodlings" would be quite helpful. :]

Or if we must share these things privately (I feel dirty even doing that), my email address is chelsea.brannon@gmail.com

Thanks, all!

No worries.
:).
You do mean the pictures Amanda doodled when she was younger?
The map of her mind is on her bio, along with a few others.. I'm sure of it.
