I get to see Against Me! tomorrow and Ladytron the day after. I am fucking psyched.

If it was 2002 and Against Me! Is Reinventing Axl Rose had just come out, I'd go with you. But after New Wave, no thank you. In fact, I advise against it.
well completely kicked ass, I don't get what the problem with New Wave is? sure it's not as good Reinventing Axl Rose, but it's still really good.

I'm holding off on getting a ticket for Depeche Mode in Toronto because I'm waiting for Tool's announcement. If Tool plays here, the shows will be happening about the same time...and I won't be able to see DM.

Yesterday I've been to a show and I regreted it when I heard the first band. At least I know to avoid them (they are local metal/industrial band).

Hopefully, Anvil Tuesday night! The Pontiac show's one of the ones where the Anvil documentary gets screened before the band's performance.

Some band called the Earth Inferno Society or something like that are playing here Tuesday at
some hole-in-the-wall club/sushi restaurant...   I suppose I'll go check it out.   The singer's name is
Jerry Washcloth or something...  How goofy.   :uglystupid2:

I think I have heard of them - didn't their drummer used to be some kind of fucking mime?

Lykke Li just completely blew me away. Rock. Love. Oh man. I want to be able to do that shoulder dance twitching thing and look as cool as she does. And bounce that fast without falling over. AND cover Tribe Called Quest shortly after somehow singing from a megaphone into a microphone with no feedback.

Holy shit. Seriously, if you like music at all, see her live soon if you can. Shes touring in small clubs right now, and I highly doubt it'll be that way for long.

1. You would have fit right in; I was surrounded by gorgeous girls young enough to be my kids.... (if I had kids)

2. As I suspected, the place was tiny...  I mean, it's a campus sushi restaurant 90% of the time.

3. The sound was good, the band was great, the crowd was great (see #1 above).

5. Ladies & Gentlemen, I moshed.   :headbang: ;D :headbang: ;D :headbang: ;D
