Awesome pictures.  I have a friend who went to the Festival, and he didn't get to see Amanda but he did enjoy what he did see.
... Still pisses me off that he didn't get to see her, though.  I imagine seeing her perform, let alone meeting her, is quite an experience.

hey,
was is you who sang that song outside the tent with my ukulele? if so, i want to again say you have an amazing voice! and thanks for taking me back to the forest and giving me some wine! it was great meeting everyone.

i can play oh comely on guitar, and recently worked it out on piano, but it's such a hard song to perform as it's so long and a strain to sing well. Brians done a cover, i found it somewhere on here, it's absolutly amazing, i can't believe he doesn't think he can sing!
i had just got the ukulele that day, crammed the chords into my head, and worked out two headed boy! playing it with her was amazing beyond words...
the edinburgh shows were simply amazing, everyone who i spoke to who hadn't ever seen her before said they really enjoyed it, shows what a 5 star review can do, and she really did deserve it.

yeah the ratings have all been excellent. Deffinately deserved.
& I can play Oh Comely on the guitar too! I have an ambition to be able to play my way through the whole Aeroplane album. And thanks for mentioning Brian's cover of it im just listening to it now, im enjoying it but my imagination is stuggling a little to put his face to singing.
WOW you worked it all out that day! thats amazing, you looked so pro at it! Natural talent eh

neutral milk hotel songs are so amazing to play on guitar, when i learnt 'King of Carrot Flowers part 1' i was in a very happy musical place. once i went through the whole album just playing along even if i didn't know the chords, that album is just so.... i don't think there are words to describe how special it is. have you read the 33 and a 1/3 book on it?
