I'm heading in to the Parade on the 25th if you want hit it up :D

I'll only be able to be at a bit of the parade sadly. It's on the same day as Dr. Sketchy's, so I'll be drawing half naked peoples from 3-6. I'll get some parade in before and after though :)

I think the way he expresses himself as "Prince Poppycock" is actually pretty cool.
He has a Wiki page too. I saw him on America's Got Talent (don't judge me), and the audience loved him, which is really quite awesome cos he auditioned in Texas.

I'm watching Alan Carr and he's very obviously gay. But Jonathon Ross is on and apparently he outed his daughter on the radio.

He was asked how he'd feel if his daughter brought home a girl and he said, well she already has.
But he was asked about that "story" and he was just saying that her sex life has nothing to do with him, much less anyone else. And that he's just happy that she's a decent human being and everything else is sort of irrelevant.

It was really nice and I wish everyone was of that opinion

For Gay Pride fest the Exdo center is hosting a Dragstravaganza hosted by Lady Bunny, Nina Flowers, and the winner of RuPaul's Drag Race 2011, Raja!

Much with the happy as this sauce is full of awesome.

yesterday, on my way to the local pride parade (or rainbow parade as it's called over here), i overheard a woman talking to a child on the bus. the kid asked why the bus wasn't going it's usual way, so the woman respondet "because of the parade",  kid: what parade?, woman: rainbow parade, kid: oh! but what is it for?, woman:(condescending voice) ...I don't know!!! ...For nothing!! ...for they block all the traffic!!
for some reason this made me really angry. it also made me angry at myself for being such a coward and not saying anything as i was standing right next to them. if not shouting "gay rights" i could have easily suggested "tolerance" or something... but the tone of the woman's voice was just giving the parade such a negative connotation :-( and the words she used for "for nothing" in german usually mean that someone's doing something in vain in addition to implying there was no theme....with made me extra sad. and how the fuck does she now her kid is not gay?

Similar experience today, a guy in the group of people I was with was ordering food in McDonald's.
The cashier called him a queer, some of us wanted to complain. But in the end we didn't. I still think we should have.

(Complained then handed in a CV, hire me please?)

although when generally talking about restaurants i say unless it's a huge deal dont complain (about the food, or be a HUGE bitch to the staff cause they WILL put stuff like eye drops in your food) but when it's something like that, call a manager over, it's completely unacceptable, they should know better and if they dont? to bad...you can probably find the number of the place online or if you have the receipt and either call and talk to a manager or even just send it in someone from corporate will probably see it and that person will probably get fired...which if you're gonna be an ass like that, you deserve to be fired

QFT. The only way we'll actually achieve some kind of equality is by refusing to accept anything but.

Okay...  Not terribly surprised that the church-court found her guilty of
performing a same-sex marriage, since that's what she did...

...but they acquitted her of being a lesbian herself....  Now, far be it from
me to stereotype, but seriously:

most fast-food places have a general or regional manager who drives from store to store.  it's not very hard to find that number to complain, i have done so a few times at the local kfc near my shop (rude, lazy staff who refused to cook new orders a full two hours before closing.  do your damn job).  recently they fired everyone and re-vamped the place, there must have been more complaints as well.  you can do so anonymously, and very easily.  and, usually with very good results.  staff aren't allowed to insult customers, and they will get fired for stuff like that.  and, that keeps you from having to complain right then while you are mad, in a place you intend to still eat...also gives you a chance to learn the employee's name and so on, so you can make an educated complaint.

and, cee, the pastor wasn't 'convicted' of being a lesbian in methodist fake court, because the 'charge' was that she had to be 'self-avowed' and since she refused to speak up for her relationship, the 'charge' was moot.

Oh, of course...
It's okay to be gay, as long as you remain suitably ashamed of yourself and closeted...  :angry7:
