I actually explained this to the two kids I was looking after as an au pair... The small boy was saying something about his friend that he was "his boyfriend" and the other adults just giggled and later I asked if they know what adults mean what they say "boyfriend" and "girlfriend" and how they're different from just "friends" And also, how usually girls have boyfriends like I have mine, and boys have girlfriends but it's ok if he will have a boyfriend who he loves like daddy loves mommy... I'm not sure if the parents heard about me telling them this or if they liked it, but screw it.

She doesn't support Gay Marriage in Australia because she wants to make the right decisions that will be beneficial for Australia's future and she doesn't think that Gay Marriage is supported by the community (when it clearly is!).
It's not fair at all for her to try and ban it completely for Australian Citizens, she shouldn't have a say in what they do when they're in a different country.
She wont win the next election, thank goodness. This is all making her less popular - yay.
