today in my history class the teacher and another student were discussing religion and he said to her that she must hate gays because she's christian and she said:
"i don't hate gay people, i have no problem with them. it's not right for me, no, but if they choose to be like that, that's fine. as long as it isn't flaunted in front of me."

i was so tempted to join the argument and tell her it's not a choice...

Attended a shindig last night a lovely "married" couple (gay marriage isn't legal in CO yet; we do have domestic partnership laws, though). They have just as valid a marriage as any hetero couple; they aren't having sex either.
