Brigading report:
Performed the clockwork compere character today in carlisle city centre
Continued the Gratis umarmungen/Free Hugs theme from my time in eichstatt with dbbog
Hugged 93 people while statuing with a key in my back/white mask/white gloves/compere outfit.
btw "grannies gave the best hugs"

The BNP http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_National_Party were trying to get votes for the upcoming local elections
and spewing their drivel against eu workers, having a go at immigrants etc Funny they don't comment on the ex-pats working in spain/france etc.
....to the right of them I stood, forcing them to say all day " no that freak isn't with us"

I counted how many people took a leaflet from them against how many hugs I received.
Lets just say people were more interested in a hug than the BNPs bull, however the 23 people 50+ seemed to be pro bnp.

There was a really nice group of AntiFa punks that harrassed them and then came for a group hug with me.
I was a bit wary about being warmly hugged by a guy with a mohawk, piercings, studs everywhere and a fuck you expression.
I introduced them to the dolls not sure if they will bite tho most of the were pistols, addicts or ramones fans.

Has anyone ever experienced their heart beating mentally while statuing? Is there anything I can do to stop that happening?

Also we did free hugs at a WKAP picnic thing I did last year and grannies are really very good at hugs.

You really should take a break every 90 minutes or so. Nothing worse than the statue you are hugging collapsing from exhauastion.
