...won't show up. I have the standard set, and I can see less than half of them. The rest have error boxes.

This makes me sad. Is there something I can do to get my wondrous smileys back?

I'm not so hot on the computer lingo, but I think you meant the temporary internet files and cookies? I emptied them, but still no luck  :-\ (<-- I can at least see that one, haha)

Haha, I actually did try it with Firefox (I use IE usually), but the same ones appeared still. Only instead of error boxes, there were just the names of the smileys.

Blah.
