Creativity has to be operationally defined before it is studied.  What, exactly, are the experimenters measuring?  The creativeness of an art project?  Creative solutions to a problem?  And how are they measuring magnitude of creativity?  Frequency of creative actions?  Are they creating categories that creative activities fall into, with some categories labeled as less, and some as more creative?
We have to know this in order to understand the studies' findings.

definitely not saying it has to do with everyone but it can definitely play a role...for example my grandmother is very creative and her husband (obviously my grandpa) is more logical-they are both right handed
my 2 uncles and mother from that family are all extremely logical and all about the moneys, and my aunt from that family is extremely creative and has perfect pitch BUT both my mother and aunt are left handed, so why is it then that my mother is not creative and my aunt is?

same with my sister and i, i have always been creative and all about the arts since forever, i'm right handed...my stupid sister is all into book smarts and moneys and is ambi and absolute shit at all arts

my mother and her sister were raised very differently as were my sister and i, and i'm definitely not saying that it's this way with everyone, obviously everyone is different...i'm just saying that at least with the way my family is it most likely played a role

why would you say it played a role?  It sounds like genetics that are just not related to each other.  If my mother and I were pre-disposed as right-handed children, why couldn't you have been?  I suppose there may be other qualities of the brain that would predispose one to creativity without being specifically connected to the right hemisphere.

Ooh, I like this better: maybe both our hemispheres are extra strong, eh?

Besides, how does it go?  Are left-handed people more likely to be even the slightest bit creative, by a small percent probability?  Or are left-handed people more likely to be more creative than your average creative right-handed person?  And again, do we even know what they mean when they use the word creative?

I have known several left handed people very personally, including my mother. Not one of them was the artistic type.

On topic: I'm right-handed and logical. But I also tend to live in a world of make beleive and have been writing ever since I was little. Fuck you statistics!
