I'm doing pretty much the same thing, little sock puppets to hand out to the queue. I kind of lost my focus when making them though, they've turned into... fluorescent pirates, some of them. They've got nothing to do with the gig whatsoever, and tbh they're kind of crappy, but they're something for people to take away :) Better than nothing. If I can get enough hands to model them I'll put some pictures up :)

the sock puppets just need to be easy to make and fun.... there is no set theme for them!
as for the performin g and entertaining ther crowd lines.....we will meet up well before the gig and have fun practicing with the puppets.... not expecting any high class ventriliquism, and the puppets are dead easy to operate

Not sure if i'll be able to brigade but i'll certainly make a few puppets to join in at the actually gig and before hand. :)

I'd love to contribute some puppets, but my stock of socks grows smaller by the day, sadly.

Totally up for meeting folks though.

Where exactly is the gig? I'm an edinburgh noob so I don't really know where anything is...

The venue is on lothain road, at the western end of Princes Street. It's not the nicest of areas (not bad though, just attracts twats) so I would envision spending the afternoon in the area south of the Mound (sounds dirty).
