Starting today, and continuing throughout July, I'll be changing my avatar every day and posting the picture its taken from up in full here (usually with a deviantart link I expect, as most of them come from there). Basically, an oppertunity for people to see lots of pictures throughout the coming month. Anyone else is, of course, highly welcome to controbute themselves as well.

I beg to differ.  Interesting art is interesting.  (Were it Alyss' own work, it would go in SSP anyway.)

yup.... no air conditioning....I did my foot in the other day (no idea how) and have had to work in 30c temperatures filled with screaming children....off days can happen to everyone

My sympathies... although... 

Let's see, 30C = 86F...   You've just described every day from now to the middle of September here
(except for the ones that are hotter).  Upside: we're used to it, and the A/C usually works.

...and if I could work in a toy store, I would endure, nay enjoy having screaming kids around.


The foot?  Well that just sucks.   People who aren't currently going through it never appreciate how
debilitating a sore foot is.  Consult a leech or sawbones as needed, don't put it off.

I like this idea. I like changing avatars too, but I'm not sure I'd have the follow-through to do it daily for a month. I'll be watching this though.

I used to work in the toy department of a shop in Oxford. I got paid £3.66 an hour and it bored the shit out of me.

The visual people would forget who was who... then again perhaps the visual people don't realize I exist because I haven't even GOT an avatar yet. Perhaps July will indeed be New Avatar Month.
