I have many prejudices towards tea making styles. For starters non of this microwaving nonsense. You boil your water then open the top and let it cool for a minute so it doesn't burn the tea. Should you decide to put milk in (lol whut?) then you do so before hand and with care. I like green tea so I guess this matters more?
I never put milk or sugar or anything in my tea - unless I'm doing chai. Then, I usually do, depending on the quality of the cream/honey I've got on hand. I prefer my stuff steeped as strong as it can get, too, unless it's a tea like Earl Grey which tastes like ass when it's steeped too long. And I completely agree about the microwaving nonsense. I'd rather have no tea than microwaved tea. The water tastes flat or something. I won't even microwave water for hot chocolate.
