yeah seriously. i loved the blue album. old skool weezer was definitely better but over time they've just lost their mojo.

Don't get me started on Weezer. My issues with them extend way beyond the "blue and pinkertone rule! anything after pinkerton sucks!" generic argument. I've been a fan for a longgggg time, really involved. If you're down, we can totally take this to AIM or PMs heh.

I heard the song literally - everywhere - I went during Bar Crawl last May. heard the song 10 times that day, even while i was waiting for a bus, a taxi pulled over just to blare the song and when it was over they left. haha I was followed, it's a conspiracy!

To be honest my friends & me are all metalheads, we enjoy Metal but somehow we discovered the "kitsch" in Lady Gaga ever since that time we just listen to Lady Gaga and laugh our asses off & any of us can denay the songs are super catchy. But that's just my gang.

The acoustic versions are very enjoyable.

By some strange reason I work better (at least with probability and statistcs related topics) while listening to Katy Perry.

I don't hate the woman or anything, and I'm actually quite impartial to her music, but please god no.

most likely an impersonator is my guess. this gaga looks a bit less skinny and not tanned enough.

i mean, i don't get all this musical elitism. it's not that because a singer is sooo fucking commercial, it makes her shit.
as catchy as her album tunes are, ok, i get it, it's definitely too disco pop or whatever for some people. but, listen to the acoustic versions, you can't say she is not talented.

i do not understand why covering lady gaga would be something : ''OMGZ!!! she's LOWERING HERSELF to lady gaga.''

and no offence but you do look a bit like ''amanda palmer meets lady gaga''  :)

I was anti-lady gaga until I watched her acoustic performances. while I still don't enjoy hearing her songs on the radio all the fricking time at work, I respect what she does and think she's very talented and intelligent.

as someone else said, I could be a fan if she never released the disco pop versions of her songs.

I would be so psyched if she covered Gaga. I love Gaga.

I like Lady Gaga and think she's a legitimate musician.

I GUESS EVERYONE ELSE WHO LIKES HER HAS LOW STANDARDS.

with as many songs as Amanda has, why should we listen to other artists when we have danejer to decide for us?

I don't think anybody covering a Lady Gaga song would be "lowering their standards". I think any and all songs can be covered. It's what you do with it that really counts.

I'm just sick of hearing/seeing Lady Gaga everywhere. I swear to god, every shop I ever go into is playing something of hers when I walk in. And it happened again today!
