generally the UK queues seem to be politely accepting of our randomness, occasionally someone will be rude... but most enjoy

It's true but having never really brigaded outside of the UK I can't comment.
At the fringe I met various european fans though and most were ok with our acts

It's a shame you cant be here Sylvia
i think (definitely not all, though, but some) french people are a bit stuck-up, and also the least informed about brigading etc... maybe it's the language barrier, they don't read the blog and so on...

i'm very saaad and i'll be thinking of you people very much! have fun and hug everyone and mandy from me  :)

I hate to be demanding but I'd love to help out with the brigading but due to no creativity on my part, am at a loss as to what I can do. Help?

Oh, Johnny, I'm sorry, i forgot all about the poetry thing you wanted.  I hope you have a good amount, if not, please feel free to take any of my stuff from the poetry thread.

Am I still doing the Sphinx thing, Robin?  For the other nights, I'll probably just hang around and watch everyone else doing their brigading stuff, because I've reached my limit  of what I can carry with me to London.
the sphynx is not happening due to time and budget constraints, but the puppet thing is defintiely happening! you are more than welcome to control the "Guitar Hero" Puppet for Friday and I have commandeered a couple of commercially made puppets for the duration also.... I am really sorry the sphynx thing is not happening as i think it would have been marvelous.....I will make sure you get to participate as much as possible in the weekends shenanigans regardless!

Can't wait to see everyone tomorrow!
I haven't had time to come up with something for brigading but am more than happy to help out with anything tomorrow or Saturday. :)

MIGHT bring my ukulele along...i'e never played in front of anyone before, but you guys seem nice enough  O0

also, don't know how to play any doll's/amanda songs yet...but am working on it!
if other people bring their uke's too that would be cool xxx

I was thinking of bringing my ukulele on saturday to see if I can't get it signed. :) I can't play very many songs, but I can play 'Two Headed Boy' if I'm feeling brave...

Sorry for posting in a really old thread, I just wanted to say the Friday Union Chapel was my first time getting to see Amanda, and you guys made it brilliant. The free hugs, gorgeous little folded envelopes, the masks, the puppets. EVERYTHING! i still have my rose.

I was over from Australia, and you guys made it really special. Also, i was so pleased to see the Piano on wheels man again! I'd seen him playing on down the hill in Edinburgh the week before!  :)

I took some photos of the brigade if any of you want them.  Thanks!
