FOR THOSE UNSURE OF WHAT THEY CAN DO (BRIGADING-WISE)
Firstly Amandas tips: Brigading FAQ
http://www.theshadowbox.net/forum/index.php?topic=3720.0and my personal experiences with the brigade...for those who like TL:DR
Acts/things people have done for their first act in the past
Statues (living, dead, semi moving stonelook or clothed)

Clockworks: coin operated things, wind up things eg jewellery box girl

Marionettes

Harlequins and clowns: The best Ive seen being Raliel and Iris

at the roundhouse and I once did an interraction/clown for fringe medicating afp fans

Stiltwalkers: various costumes from classic look to gasmasks to a Stiltwalking elephant

Human Cavases:- easy and fun for the audience/amanda:- paint and partial nudity.

Jugglers: Khufu did really cool UV juggling with a creepy doll mask, also fire juggling/spinning (venue/front of house permitting)

Musicians: anything goes really, if you play something come along, even better if you can get together as a group stairway orchestra or bathroom organgrinder

Burlesque acts:- eg Fandances lol ( yeah I know Cho aint brigade but it was still funny)

Interpretive dance (probably got the description wrong Emilie sorry)

Roaming interractive Strange and wonderous things.

Also, Many make homemade treats for the audience and deliver them out in costume during the queuing and at any intervals
or just giving the audience instruments and asking them to sing dolls songs blah de blah basically anything goes
videos that you could get inspiration from: someone tell me how to embed here

Paradise DVD: day in the life (bits with brigade prep and interviews with US brigade and Marie/Emilie Bera
Roundhouse extras: Bit of brigade in there too.
and when I find them ill embed some of dbbogs brigading videos as they record most of the shows
