I almost bought them from this place in Camden, after they were really rude to us and stared at us as we looked at the boots. But we thought they were the only place there that sold them. Then we found this tucked away place selling the same pair for £30 cheaper, and the guy left us to look and helped us when we needed help. We the proceeded to walk PAST the other shop, swinging the bag.
I hate it when salespeople are rude. We all work for some company, and we are not being paid to be rude to the customers.
And yay for paying less money to the same cool boot!

yeah, I wanted to take pictures of a few pairs and then have coffee while I sent the pictures to Matt so he could help me choose. I had just taken a photo of these and the guy yelled 'NO PICTURES!' at us. We then went to the back of the shop to look at the rest and another guy WATCHED me looking at them with this sarcastic smile on his face. He made a point to stand right in front of me next to them. If I wanted to steal New Rock designs, I'd go online for one thing, and if I wanted to steal the boots, we were right at the back of the shop that had one exit. Out of principle I didn't want to give them my money, so I was really pleased with the find.
There are just two simple principles they should take;
1- The customer is always right.
2- You can not accuse someone with theft unless you have a proof.
You did the best thing. I wouldn't buy from them too, quality of the product is not the only thing to satisfy a customer.
And what jerks... As if they are displaying a unique painting or something.
